Many of the video game soundtracks I’ve done have been stuck behind a paywall for a few years, but bit by bit they’ve been coming out as the business changes.
Here’s one I did a few years ago for a tetris-type game called Tower Up:

The second song in this new Album To Watch; Fractal Show To Hear.
This one, as before, is originally intended for 5.1. You must hear it in surround, ideally in a planetarium, for the full effect. Still – pretty cool, right?
I have been working on a brand new project for some time now, and I’m starting to approach the finish line. Anyway, I’m close enough to start sharing it.

First off, you should know that this is all written in 5.1 surround sound, to be played by your local amazing planetarium, or even your kick-ass home stereo system. So in order to present it to you here in squished mp3 stereo, I’ve had to mush down SIX sound canvases into TWO. This is all an elaborate way of saying that this is a pretty rough cut.
The next thing you should know is that there are going to be the most amazing fractal zooms created for this album. So this will be an album that you watch, or a fractal show that you listen to. I’m really trying to raise the bar on the stuff I’ve been doing for planetariums.
Anyway, this song, called “The Overachiever Suite”, opens the whole album. Enjoy!
Of the five albums I’ve got so far, four of them exist in physical CD form. And, yeah, that might not be the smartest thing to do in the world. Well, I’m probably not a very good businessman.
Anyway, for awhile now I’ve been giving these CDs out to people who are interested. Then I started giving them out online, because that seemed kind of cooler. And I started reaching people in interesting places, like Latvia. I’ve never been to Latvia, and have no idea why people there are getting into my music, but I would love to go there someday!
So here’s a rough map of where I’ve sent CDs so far. And if you want a disc or 4, let me know.
A birthday present. This song is an electric power waltz. I really dig this music. It was endlessly fun to play and, like all the best stuff that comes to me, just felt… effortless.
This song is from my Greek Gods collection, but my brother wanted to use it for a fractal. I love this song. I could listen to it forever, I think.
This is great zoom to see in the dome. Musically it’s a little interesting for me because the piece doesn’t really GO anywhere. Which I find meditative or annoying, depending on mood. But it was fun to make.
Another new zoom. Calm and serene at the outset; this is how I feel at dawn.
My brother started a new fractal show in the planetarium in New Mexico. This new show will feature only zooms and music, and none of the talk. I have grand plans for this show in the future. For now, however, this is the new intro piece:
Here’s a new video for you. I now pretty much only compose in surround sound, but I squished it all together in a stereo mix for sharing online. Enjoy!
